RUSH KAPPA PHI LAMBDA!

What is Rush?

Rush is a period in which rushees (you) are able to learn about our Sorority as well as our Sisters. Rush is open to any and everyone. This is also a time for us to get to know you better. That is why it is important that you attend as many Rush events as you can, the least being two events and one General Information Meeting (G.I.M). This is the basic requirement to get a bid, which is an invitation to be in the Intake Process. This period is also extremely important for you to ask us questions that you may have in a relaxed and open environment. These events are also hosted by us, which means they are FREE of charge to you.

What's the Intake Process?

The Intake Process is a period in which you learn about Kappa Phi Lambda, as well as your line sisters (the other rushees), on a deeper level. You may have heard many negative aspects, but Kappa Phi Lambda does not haze (anything that detrimental to your health/well-being), nor do we tolerate hazing.

Do I have to be Asian?

No, definitely not! We are Asian-Interest, not Asian-Exclusive. In fact, we have many sisters of different decent – Mexican, Spanish, African-American, French, among many others.

Why Kappa Phi Lambda?

We never try to persuade anyone to rush or be in the intake process for our sorority more than another sorority. In fact, we highly encourage all potential rushees to attend to the rushes of other sororities so that they can make this important decision themselves. We know that Kappa Phi Lambda is not for everyone and therefore would want you to make an informed decision before accepting the bid.
